Peas Please
|

Have you ever bought seeds for your garden and then realized that maybe you were a little over zealous in your purchase? How does 4 different kinds of peas sound? Really, will I be able to taste the difference? And, after my daughter and I planted 8 rows of them, we still had some left. One of the packets was actually an Economy Bag - I thought I was being so frugal in my spending.
Usually, I can't bear to see good seeds go to waste.....BUT they had already been soaked (read that somewhere in a gardening mag. years ago) to help them germinate faster, so they had to be used. I didn't want to use any more space for them, so I got rid of my inhibitions and threw them into the ditch (actually right now it's a moat)!! If they grow, can I call them water peas? Maybe I'll start a new way of growing- in water. Oh wait, guess that's what they call hydroponics. Maybe I'll call them wild peas, because it'll be the wildlife that gets to eat them!
